Dark, devastating and intensely thought-provoking psychological horror.

Perfectionism is the tyrant not the black swan.

The acting was outstanding. Some people were surprised by the story line so you need to go in with an idea of what to expect.

The dancing was excellent, and I'm not a fan of ballet. The effort, strength and hard work were evident in the portrayal of these characters. The story line was just OK, kinda predictable, a bit of a letdown.

Excellent and unexpected acting from natalie, it is nice to see her stepping out of the good girl persona

This movie was excellent! Contrary to some reviewers, I didn't find it depressing at all. This was an energized, focused, psychological movie. There was intensity which was offset by very brief moments of humour. Well paced. Well choreographed and filmed. Very convincing performances. Be prepared to better understand how ballet performers embrace and truly embody their art.
